This beautiful blend of 20% NZ Brushtail Possum and 80% 18 micron fine Merino creates a yarn with exceptionally soft handle and a gentle, airy loft. As the possum fibres bloom, they bring a cosy, luxurious warmth that only possum, nature's natural insulator, can offer. With these fine fibres it is possible to achieve excellent yarn length for weight with 140m on a 40g ball.
The natural light and dark shades of Possum fibres create a melange effect when blended and dyed with Merino, adding depth and richness to every shade. the length on the ball means less weight and cost per garment.
