Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) is a smooth, worsted-spun and plied yarn, renowned for its natural sheen and great bounce. Strong, yet soft enough for next-to-skin wear. BFL is a versatile choice for all manner of projects, from hats and mittens to jumpers, socks and shawls. It has an even stitch definition so works wells for a variety of techniques, including stockinette, textured stitches, brioche and cables. Durable and resistant to pilling, BFL is a great choice for creating long-lasting pieces.
