The past two months have been a bit of a whirlwind for me. I decided to take up an offer of 7 weeks of full time contract work. It wasn't a particularly exciting role but it felt good to be contributing to the household coffers again. Since then I've been fortunate to find some casual work that I can do from home. Yay!
April has been a pretty exciting month. Purple Sprouting has moved away from Etsy and launched our own webshop. The reason for this was in part due to costs of running an Etsy shop, what with listing fees and then sale fees, add to this the very limited shipping options which made it difficult for NZ customers to select the correct shipping costs. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has visited our new website and for the positive feedback we've received.
This weekend saw Purple Sprouting running our very own Pop-Up Shop. It was a three day event and the support was unbelievable. Mr Purple Sprouting came along to help me and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, meeting so many wonderful crafty people.
Next up Woolfest!
